What is Kunugiza-gyu (Kunugiza cattle)!

Kunugiza beef is a brand of Japanese black cattle raised at Daizo Chikusan in Awaji City. Only female cattle of the Tajima breed are raised and thoroughly managed to ensure tender meat and fine graininess. The cattle are fattened using proprietary techniques, including the use of straw from Awaji Island, spring water, and an original blend of feed, which results in Wagyu beef with smooth fat and sweet meat. Only about 10 head per month are marketed on a monthly basis. At our restaurant, we offer many menu items using rare and attractive Kunugiza beef!
